[mssms] Inventory and License Management

Is anyone using Asset Intelligence to import, manage, and report on third-party 
software? Does it satisfy most organizational requirements for managing license 
compliance?
 
I am trying to determine if I can recommend using ConfigMgr for this task over 
another tool(or tools).
