Good to know.
your question: yes, define a client and malware policy, deploy to that collection. From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kevin Johnston Sent: Mittwoch, 3. Juni 2015 17:52 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [mssms] SCEP poll In our company I manage AV, but the Service Desk remediates it. Trend sends an email when someone is infected (crapware/malware) and they go run 3rd party scans to clean up what Trend can't. Ideally if the product works, it should be able to clean itself, but on average we get 3-5 notices a week of machines that Trend can't clean. If I could deploy it, it would be about 1,050. Side Note: Is it possible to deploy the SCEP to a collection (not company wide) to test its functionality? Another group is tasked with monitoring all that, but I have a subscription set up that sends the activity report daily. Company currently is not sure how affective it is in protection. I would like to deploy it because it makes things easier, but if it doesn't work then it is pointless. I can't seem to find any updated stats on how well it works in protection. Trend seems to notify us daily on issues. so still on the fence. How many of you, using CM, also use SCEP on clients? I'm not looking for reasons, a simple yes/no will do. Maybe you can throw in some client numbers? I'll start: Not decided yet :), 1000 clients Thanks, Roland _____ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This email contains information from the sender that may be CONFIDENTIAL, LEGALLY PRIVILEGED, PROPRIETARY or otherwise protected from disclosure.
