I've been approached to perform the following: Exchange 2013 patch of the OS not the Exchange App (app is by the team supporting email). The process they recommended is patch, then want a ps to be executed. Now I did explain that with SCOM we can do post reboot checks, but since SCOM (internal) is not monitoring their environment, they are asking me to run the "redistributeActiveDabases.ps1" and if I am looking correctly, i am going to need to run it from that server since the 2013 scripts folder has the strings, for that ps1.
I'm by no means an expert with exchange, but my question is this, has or is anyone patching Exchange 2013 with SCCM and doing a redistributeactivedatabases check with no SCOM. Thanks, [new title]
