I updated the BIOS to the latest for this model...A.04. I wonder if it is the particular USB Nic...we are using a brand called "Pluggable"

The initial version of the BIOS didn't support pxe booting from a usb adapter they released an update to support that with adapters with a particular chipset in the adapter. Try updating the BIOS? If I use USB boot media, I can get the task sequence initiated without an issue. WinPE even detects the USB NIC without any special drivers injected into the boot image. We had XPS 13's we built from PXE with a USB NIC. Before we updated the PXE images, you had to use it on the USB 2.0 port. The 3.0 would let you boot into PXE but then it would fail after it started loading drivers. Is anyone PXE booting this particular model of Dell XPS? If so, is there a place I can go for info on what is needed to PXE boot it?
