As far as I can tell it all works the same, RDS or admin only.  Smart Card,
virtual or otherwise, or a third party product are the only real ways to
MFA.  Virtual smart cards are the cheapest, but it makes the client endpoint
the smart card, and is not very portable at that point.  Actual smart cards
costs in cards and readers, but is portable, and 3rd party
