Only the IE "Local Intranet" zone allows pass thorough (logged in credential)
authentication in the IE default settings.
My suggestion is to add it to the Local Intranet zone or simply remove it from
the Trusted Sites zone.
If you have trouble with IE detecting the correct zone for sites in your
intranet, add *.imcu.local and if you have "server.sharepoint.imcu.local" add
*.sharepoint.imcu.local to the Local Intranet zone.

I have about 500 workstations.
About 400 of them can access my sharepoint foundations (2013) no problem.
I have about 100 that get a pop up for AD authentication.
What can I look at so I don't have to reimage these 100?
