I have a question about configuring SSRS. We are currently installing SCCM
2012 R2 SP1 and using a remote SQL server running SQL 2012 SP2 CU4. The SSRS
server is remote from the SQL server also and is running SSRS 2008 SP3. When
we run the install it will create the folder in SSRS but it only created the
connection information and then starts to create the connection again. It is
creating a bunch of .old folders in SSRS and does not stop unless the instance
of SSRS is disabled or Report point is removed. When you remove the Reporting
Point role it removed the log files. In the logs it states the following:

Could not retrieve the reporting service name for instance 'MSSQLSRV'

The account the is used for the install is a admin in sql (server and the DB
itself) and on SSRS. Any clues to what causes this?
