Just getting the groups thoughts on 2 things that we are looking at having to
do in regards to our SCCM server (among other servers).

First thing is we need to change the IP address of the SCCM server.
Does anyone think this should be a problem? Is there anything I should be
considering when doing this?

We need to do this because we are having to change the vlan the server is on,
part of an infrastructure change.
The second more bigger issue is that we currently run a .local domain (which
is going away by Nov 1 2015 due to certs) and they are thinking of having to
rebuild the infrastructure to change the domain name, among other challenges we
have.

I believe I will need to rebuild the SCCM server as well, as part of this (if
that is the decision). They might go with a CA server in the interim to get
through this requirement.

It is obviously a far bigger project, but just thought I would ask and see what
the consensus is. Would I need to rebuild if we have to change the domain name
to servername.whatever.com.

Thanks,

Kevin Johnston
