Well, as stated in that thread, don't blame Intune as Microsoft has no control
over this behavior. You must always remember that these is not the Windows OS
that we've all grown up with in which we can do pretty much anything that we
want to. These OSes are locked down and designed for consumer use. We can only
"do things" to them that Apple says we can - there is no magical way to
override this by design.

Wow... another unexpected/frustrating surprise from this Intune rollout.

Thanks for the info.

Managed apps won't show up in the company portal app on iOS. See this thread

Subject: [mssms] Mobile Application Management Policies

Hoping someone can help me here. I just updated to SP1 on Wednesday evening so
that I have the option to create MAM policies. I created one for iOS and
deployed some new apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) with the policy applied.
Prior to updating to SP1 and before I created any MAM policies, those same apps
were showing up in the Company Portal. However, after I applied the MAM policy
to them, they aren't showing up. Where's the best place to troubleshoot this? I
see the following when I monitor the deployment but if I view the details of
each user listed, its referencing their laptop, not their mobile device, so I
don't know if I should go down the path of troubleshooting this particular
error too much. I tried re-enrolling a couple of devices and still only one app
showing up in the Company Portal (one app that does not have a MAM policy). Any
suggestions before I open a ticket with MS? Thanks!
