All the other vendors tout their MAM capabilities and while it's true they do
have MAM and have had it for much longer than Microsoft they cannot and will
not be able to do MAM with Office apps like MS can simply because Office and
Intune are both products by MS. So when Citrix tells you they can do MAM for
email on Android that's 100% true but they are using an app called Touchdown
and everybody hates touchdown. Microsoft will be doing it using Outlook. By the
same token other vendors have apps that mimic Word and/or Excel but they ain't
Word and Excel. :)

I've done zero Intune work, so just wondering what hooks into Office are you
referring to?

We just replaced Citrix XenMobile with Intune in a hybrid deployment with
Configmgr.

My opinion is that it's well worth the cost when compared to other, similar,
products. It may not have all the features of the products that have been
around longer but it has everything we need and it's getting more and more
features each month. At the end of the day Intune will be the last man standing
in the MDM market because of the hooks it has into Office that nobody else can
ever have.

Just curious how many people are using Intune on here, and what is your opinion
on it.

Thanks
