Not to mention, should you need it, the ability to use apps or internet to
retrieve files while on the go , case in point;

One of my clients is an event / production company , (*speaking of Synology
specifically), any employee (foreman, tech, installer, etc..) Can open their
device login via the Synology app, or ANY web browser , navigate to the job
file , i.e. "2015\Winter\Department_Stores\Tiffany's 2015 winter holiday"  look
for a file ( Floor plan, DJ Booth, the lighting, etc...)
and download it on the fly.
AND ALL FOR FREE included with the NAS

Times have changed, lots of good stuff out, not that costly

Why are you limiting yourself to just HP storage? There are bunch of suitable
storage providers for a shop of your size... What are your expectations of the
storage software?

I am working with a shop that is growing and they need to add some shared
storage to 3 esxi servers each with DAS. We are looking at an HP MSA 1040
2-port 10G iSCSI Dual Controller SFF Storage, anyone have or know of these and
have an opinion?

Thanks,
