I have an HP GL360e Gen8 that may have a bad hard drive.
There are four(4) of the following hard drives on this system.
10K SAS 450GB 653956
This server hosts our Exchange Server. I inherited this server and only
have been her for over a month.
This morning, the LED circle around the hard drive is spinning,
counter-clockwise, and was amber. I have gone into the drive. not mirrored
and is Drive F:, and deleted some files. When I opened 'This PC' on the
server, and looked at the F: Drive, the bar that measures actual use was
red. I deleted some files and was able to get 72GB Free, an now the bar
that measures actual use is blue and a little over 75% across.
Now, when I go into that drive, I don't see anything listed.
I think I have a hidden share on that drive.
But, the LED circle that was amber is now Green, and still spinning
counter-clockwise.
Looking up the issue on Google, but my Google-fu is not bringing up
anything.
Direction to go? Ideas?
