I ended up running a syslog agaisnt the Sonicwall and we got a lot back that the phase 2 proposal wasn't correct.
Its an IPSec tunnel, and it was a matter of going through each configuration until we got it right. It didn't help that the terminology between the firewalls differ. For the record, its High (ESP) IP Sec security method 3DES with encryption. Main mode IKE phase 2 3DES_MD5.
