Anyone else seeing problems with using a custom LayoutModification.xml file for start menu appearance in Windows 10 x64 Enterprise?
I’ve tried all the scenarios below and I can’t seem to get the custom start menu layout to appear. I was initially using a step to copy the xml file into c:\users\default\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\shell http://www.osd-couture.com/2014/11/windows-10-deploying-customized-start.html I am removing all the default tiles in my corporate image before I sysprep – maybe that is the cause? Using MDT 2013 Update 1 to build and capture my wim with LTISuspend being used to pause the process for a few minor customisations.
