Thanks!

It’s actually worse.

Defined during OSD on a newly imported record and it’s not visible in the
console or with the query.

It seems only to get “active” later on, but still only with the query.

I only plan to do that using the MDT DB during OSD, hence this must work.

That didn’t happen before the upgrades, so I guess my mistake.

Time for a ticket

I can second that I have seen weirdness with UDA.

Update.

It’s not that the server doesn’t know about the UDA user, it’s just not
showing in the GUI, not on the computer or user object.

I know since I use a script to install software for the primary user during
OSD and that script uses SMS_UserMachineRelationShip which returns the
userID.

Just the console doesn’t, hence I also can’t clear it, another problem.

I’d like to have this confirmed first, before I open a ticket.

Anyone willing to that by defining a user during OSD using the variables?

It may require the latest version though.

Another thing which worked before.

CM2012 R2 SP1 CU1, MDT2013 Update 1

I have the users for UDA in the MDT db and all boot media are set to AUTO
approve.

It is read as part of gather, the TS knows about the variable, but after
OS-installation, the user is not assigned.

To troubleshoot I’ve just added two set variable steps, SMSTSUDAUsers to
“domain\userid” and SMSTSAssignUserMode=AUTO.

But It’s not assigning the account. Only when I assign the same user in the
console.

Any ideas?
