By default, any standard user or computer account has permissions to read other
objects in the forest so that's all you need - a normal user account in that
forest.

Subject: [mssms] Forest account permissions

Just setting up a plan to bring an untrusted forest into our CM site and the
first step is to add the forest and specify an account. I'm reading the account
"must have read permissions to the forest". How exactly is this granted?

Daniel.
