Hi all,
we have deployed 5 new ubiquiti ap's for servicing a venue, the issue is that
the router (a netgear) doesn't seem to understand the LAN dhcp setting,
I have entered the ip as 172.16.0.1 with a mask of 255.255.252.0 (this should
theoretically give me 172.16.0.x-172.16.3.x)
but when I enter it into the router this is what is shows it only shows that I
can only get 254 hosts (172.16.0.2-254)
Alternatively, Is there a free DHCP server I can use?
The only equipment at this site is a windows 8 home microcomputer running the
ubiquiti controller, a ubiquiti 8 port POE switch, and the 5 AP's (no servers,
no pc's nothing else)
