Didnt want to hijack my own thread , so i just wanted to point out an
observation -
i called 2 different authorized mikrotik resellers (both in the US) and
gave them my specs for the site,
1. at least 3 gigabit ports 2 for wan 1 for lan2. ability to reliably handle
500 connections (phone/tablet browsing) 3. support for /22 subnet4. bandwith
monitoring,throttling.
one reseller comes back with a 119 dollar , rb2011 series (big grin when I
hear that number)
reseller 2 comes back with the 900 dollar 16 core model ( ???? ) Are these
resellers that misinformed, are did one see me coming a mile away?
