What OS are the servers running?

We have found WDS on Server 2012 to be kind of broken. Our solution was to use
2012 R2 instead.

Thanks,
Jeff Jerousek

Subject: [mssms] Some sites throw a BlueScreen error BCD 00098 for PXE

Hi guys,

I’ve got this exact error here:

http://serverfault.com/questions/591094/sccm-2012-r2-unknown-pc-boot-over-pxe-bcd-file-error

PXE in certain sites returns a BCD error. I’ve deployed the boot images,
everything is good from that angle, just this PXE error, and only on certain
office locations. If I check, the content is in place in all of these office
locations.

Recovery

Your PC needs to be repaired.

The Windows Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file from the PXE Server does not
contain a valid operating System entry. Ensure that the Server has boot Images
installed for this architecture.

File:\Tmp\x86x64{abc123}.bcd

Error code: 0x0c0000098

You´ll Need to use the recovery Tools on your media. ..

Two of my 10 remote sites have this error. This is 2012 R2 SP1 with the newest
CU. Any pointers?
