I guess you can't use the remaining % option at all. Either that or I'm not
using it correctly, but it looks pretty straight forward to me. I used your
task sequence steps and then added an additional partition that would use 100%
of the remaining space and it resulted in the "ZTIDRIVERS: Path not found (76)"
error again.

I guess I'll have to just create it manually after deployment.

I misspoke. I should have said "don't use the % option for the Recovery
partition".

Ok so basically don't use the % option for the Windows or Recovery partition.
I assume I should be able to use the 100% of remaining space for drive D:
though and just put it as the last defined partition? I'll give it a try.

I added a diskpart script action later in the task sequence to solve that
problem.

Download a ready-made task sequence (CM01) for MDT 2013 Update 1 from this link:

How do you create a custom partition with MDT 2013 update 1? On physical
servers I want a 50GB Windows partition and the remaining space to become drive
D:\ and give it the label "Data". I had it working in the last version of MDT,
but the changes to partitioning is a bit tricky because of the recovery
partition. Here's what I tried and what makes sense to me, but it's breaking
the deployment. Sorry the UI won't let me expand the window so I had to
squeeze it in.
