As we start considering Windows 10, I am looking for a way to find users/machines that only use the applications that will be standard in our image... MS apps and ancillary stuff known to work in Windows 10 like VNC, VLC, etc..
These users/machines can only run those apps we know will be baked in to our Windows 10 image and nothing beyond that. I suppose the issue is knowing what EXE belongs to what app or maybe the answer is to begin with just those machines that have the base apps and nothing more? Any thoughts on this or any tips from folks that tried it back in the XP to Win7 days? All questions and tips are welcome. Thanks
