I’ll try that. The driver package source seems to be the correct size though.

There is a hotfix (server and console) for drivers.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3084586
ConfigMgr was adding the drivers an extra 3 or 4 times.
One the import is done are the folders much larger than they should be?

have you tried to disable antivirus scanning, that definitely makes a
difference, however be sure they've been scanned elsewhere.
