One of my architect clients asked about putting Surface Pro 3 tablets inside a growing room mounted on a wall so the attendants can monitor and change things as needed. I searched and found a little info but not enough to really answer my question. That is how well do they hold up?
The main software being used is Metasys by Johnson Controls. This software is tied to several different types of sensors that control heat, water, humidity, lights in one of several different rooms in the building. The Surfaces will be used to monitor the conditions of the room. I have the environmental specs of the Surface and I'm concerned on how the device will function in constant humid conditions.
