Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2012 Update 1 is the newest version of MDT, a Solution Accelerator for operating system and application deployment. With as many web pages Microsoft has to keep updated sometimes things will slip through. As to why it is on the page? My guess was to highlight how MDT can tie into a WSUS site to automatically patch and update systems at build time.
