Does anyone know of a utility that will go through my DPs an check the hash values on all packages to make sure that they are correct?
I am having problems where the content source might change between when a source directory is set and when a DP comes on line. In those cases the changed files can be copied to the new DP, but the hash is not recomputed. This results in a hash clash when the package is distributed from that "bad" DP. The other result is that non-updated DPs might have a slightly different set of files than the updated DPs. Usually this happens unintentionally as thumbs.db files get created unintentionally when someone is out browsing in the package source location. I am guilty of this myself. I have thumbs creation turned off on my main desktop system, but this can slip my mind when connecting from a laptop or from home... Anyway, I am looking for a utility to do an integrity check against all packages on all DPs. Is that a thing that exists? I don't want to have to wait until a client in some location tries to download the package and fails the hash match. ________________________________ Notice: This UI Health Care e-mail (including attachments) is covered by the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, 18 U.S.C. 2510-2521, is confidential and may be legally privileged.
