That would be why. :)
I'll wager your value is being created under HKU\adminaccountSID

If you want it under HKCU, it needs to be run in the context of the logged on
user. Group Policy Preference might be an easier way to do that.

Is pdqdeploy running as the logged on user, or is it running as an
admin/service account?

Is the value you're trying to set under HKLM or HKCU?

Subject: [NTSysADM] Registry Edit

Greetings:

I am trying to push out a registry edit. I have tried various different
options that I found online, but none of them seem to work. Yet, I can run the
registry file (.reg) from the computer and it installs fine. I am using PDQ
Deploy to remotely install the file. They recommend: regedit.exe /s
"hangfix-11.reg". I have taken the quotes off, and tried a few other things.
It says it installs successfully, but when I look for it, it is not there. It
is adding a new value. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
