I ran into an issue once, I think it was SMS 2003, where someone had used MSDN
media to install a production site. The site couldn't be upgraded because of
that. Or maybe it could but only with MSDN media. It's been many years so I
don't recall the precise details but I do know that I leaned never to use MSDN
media in prod.

Yikes. MSDN releases are meant for developers *only*. If you do have problems,
you may have a support issue and Microsoft support is not yet prepared to help
you either. Hopefully nothing goes wrong for you, but the whole reason they
haven’t announced anything official yet is because they are not prepared for
anyone to actually put it into production yet. It’s possible there are known
problems that they aren’t prepared to fix yet – setup has the ability to
download post release fixes and slipstream them into the installation. R
SP1/SP2 had multiple (I think it was like 5 of these) that were discovered
after they finalized the media but *before* they officially released it. I
don’t expect you to have issues, but know that you’ve probably increased your
risk of having issues and that getting help may be problematic.

Upgraded my Company yesterday.

So far so good :)

If you read this blog, it looks like it is quite critical that you implement
this WSUS hotfix before you sync the new “Upgrades” category:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/wsus/archive/2015/12/04/important-update-for-wsus-4-0-kb-3095113.aspx

One of the new features I’ve been looking forward to is the support for Office
365 patching.
Does anyone know how they will appear in the console? Is it a separate
category/product, or is it the same updates/bits as the MSI version of Office ?

I see SCCM v1511 was released to MSDN yesterday.

Is this SCCM vnext RTM ?

An upgrade guide has also been published, but no news on the SCCM Team Manager
Blog yet.
