Right. You’re looking at two different applications (Communicator and Skype) rather than two Deployment Types of the same application. Creating collections based on the AD group memberships is easy enough, then just deploy each of the apps to their respective collections.

I believe if using App-V server you can use a security group. Nick Gailfus Computer Technician The Leona Group, LLC Sent from my Android phone. Just create the App-V version of the app as another Deployment Type for the Application, then on the two DT’s set the Requirement for Primary Device = Yes or No accordingly. As long as you have your methodology sound for setting primary devices, it should work really well. -Phil From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>] On Behalf Of Gailfus, Nick Sent: Friday, January 8, 2016 9:08 AM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: [mssms] App-V I want to use app-v with SCCM in a way that employees would get an app-v version until CM finds that the computer is their primary machine and then installs the software. If they could get an app-v version of the applications they use I would not have to worry about uninstalling the application after the training is done. I set it up in a lab with a few simple apps and it seemed ok, just not sure if I want to support it in production.
