I am going to assume fruit=blackberry, in which case no, it will not support
blackberry. If fruit <> blackberry, then what do you mean by "fruit
devices"?

I don't specifically have Mobile Iron experience but I do have AirWatch and
Citrix XenMobile and CM/Intune can fully replace either of those. Unless
Mobile Iron has some magic sauce that no other vendor has then yes it too
can be replaced.

It can replace it when combined with Intune (the EMS suite).

How would you compare those two?

Is CM able to replace it mostly? Where not?

We currently have Mobile Iron, not utilized very much, but since I'm gonna
have CM1511 live soon I may mention that CM can do fruit devices also.
