I think it is because I have so many machines that are so far out of date. Fixing that. I researched last week. Looks like it has been outstanding for a while Q3112343 was released in December 2015 to allow updates to finish and catch up. Also some mention of cleaning up WSUS expired and superceded patch but I already have that script running. So I am going to apply the above and then if it still does not play nice with me, break my deployments up into 10-15 patch deployments. More work on my end but will get us to the finish line, I think.
