For PCs that enroll in the Insider Preview process (selecting one of the available rings via Settings), the current WSUS settings (pushed out via GPO) on the machine will be ignored and the machine will only be updated from WU (which would be mostly new Insider Preview builds, but there are fixes that are occasionally deployed too). The ConfigMgr client should continue to work fine. (That's the way my main PC is always set up :))
So other than opting into the Insider Preview process, I don't think there are any other actions needed. I am thinking it might be best for our organization if I had a machine or two running the Insider builds (my PC's). Currently all machines check in with ConfigMgr to get Windows Updates. Is there a quick way of excluding my machines from pointing there and have them point to Microsoft's WSUS. I really would prefer not to put all the insider builds on my SCCM box, but might be the best choice. Is this even possible? I know there are some registry changes that can be made as a temp fix to this. Looking for a long term solution. --John
