So walked back into the lab this morning and WinPE finally booted up on the
6005 and on closer inspection WinPE isn't seeing the local harddrive.
Rebooted the workstation, in the bios changed the SATA emulation fron AVHI to
Native IDE and now WinPE loads and installs properly.

Does this sound like MDT is missing a driver that I need to import ... kind of
issue ?

I've had that happen to me before when the machine had bad memory, after
dropping the image.

Thanks,

Does this machine support Windows 10? Looks kind of old to me.
Most likely it's missing some system driver, what I'm not sure, haven't used
any AMD machines for nearly a decade now. :(

* Try going back to the Windows 7 or Windows 8 ADK.

* Or better yet, just try booting from a Windows 7, 8.1, and Windows 10
Install disk.
When you boot from media, Windows setup is just using WinPE in the background.

Has anyone seen this issue with HP 6005s being unable to boot the litetouch usb
media?

When I try to boot the machine, I get the Windows 10 boot screen logo but the
PC just sits there and spins.
WinPE never loads, no noticeable hard drive activity and the Windows 10 loading
pearls just spin round and round...

Its very strange, I tried different brands of USB keys, different iso to usb
tool, reset BIOS to defaults ... not sure what else I can do to resolve it.
