Would require a compliance script to add it to HINV so you can report on it.

At MMS (I think it was Kim Oppalfens), mentioned you can just do a 
get-childitem and gather the total size of the cache to report back. Not sure 
if there is an easier way.

The cache free space is not returned to the CM server by default.  You would 
need to do so in order to run a SQL Query.
