Has anyone encountered an issue like this? We're running into an issue with some newer Dell Optiplex D7 family (7040, 5040) and Latitude E8 family (5570, 5470) where our MDT 2013-based Win7 builds are failing during the Windows Setup phase of the deployment, with the exact same error in the c:\windows\panther\setuperr.log: "Startup: Failed to process advanced operation queue, startupphase: 0 [HRESULT=0x80073712 - ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT]
We initially thought drivers were an issue because it's just these newer Skylake processor based models having issues, and so far all our other Dell models are working just fine, but going through and cleaning up the driver store to either no drivers or going driver by driver to get the bare minimum to boot and have network connectivity have not worked so far. What's curious is that the same machines that don't build off our MDT 2013 deployment, when we imported the Dell family cab files into our older MDT 2012 deployment, they all build just fine without doing anything at all. We get consistent failures with 32 and 64 bit Win7 builds on MDT 2013, but everything works fine with MDT 2012. The only real difference between our 2012 and 2013 deployment shares is the 2012 has an older reference build .wim which hasn't been updated with newer Windows updates since about last October. We were planning on opening a support ticket with Dell but I thought I might try asking here first to see if this has come up anywhere else.
