Edit your format disk step to remove it, don’t do it after the fact. By 
default, yes the Format step in SCCM will build the partitions for bitlocker, 
but you can easily edit those.

Also keep in mind if you build your image with SCCM, and don’t want the SCCM 
client on it, you will need to remove it.

If you captured it using SCCM, then yes you can import it into MDT.

However, you may need to remove the system partition from the Wim.  I.e your 
SCCM images have a 1-1 and a 1-2 format, whereby 1-1 is the system image and 
1-2 the OS.  MDT, in my experience throws a hissy and wont import the wim in 
this scenario.

If anyone knows of an easy workaround for this please share, but I generally 
just remove the 1-1 system partition in this scenario and it works fine.

A WIM can be used however you desire using the tool of your choice.
