Hi Chris,

I guess we will way since we are in the discussion ☺. We aren’t expecting there
to be an update to SCUP 2011 anytime soon, because SCUP 2011 does its job “Call
the WSUS API’s to publish updates to WSUS” works on all versions on WSUS
including Server 2016 preview from our testing.

Since we are only providing the catalog that ties into SCUP 2011 at this point,
we would love to see some sort of SCCM console integration to add external URL
cab files built into SCCM in a future update.

This is actually one of the top requested features over on User Voice:
https://configurationmanager.uservoice.com/forums/300492-ideas/suggestions/8803711-3rd-party-patching-scup-integration-with-sccm-co.

Thanks,

Marie

So speaking of these types of products, what is the future of SCUP?

Subject: [mssms] PatchMyPC SCUP Catalog?

Hi All,

Anyone on here using the PatchMyPC SCUP Catalog
https://patchmypc.net/third-party-patch-management-scup-catalog? We are looking
to get better at third-party patching through SCCM.

This seems to be the best price out there with the same software coverage as
most other catalogs: https://patchmypc.net/supported-products-scup-catalog and
the turnaround time for catalog releases seem to be good:
https://patchmypc.net/category/scupcatalogupdates/feed.

Wanted to see if anyone on this list is using them and the experience you have
had using this catalog?

Tim
