His prediction is that DSC might replace GPO and CM at some cases.

 

As I client engineer, I'm wondering for what should I use it for?

 

For example, I use GPP to manage local administrators groups. It enforces
who has local admin and I just have to check AD for the groups and members.
I don't want to use CM for inventory anymore.

(If you know what I mean).

 

Is that something I should use DSC for?

 

Maybe this is a bad example, but the first one coming in mind though.
