This is not an update that you apply to your ADK install and you’re fine from then on. No, you have to perform the 9 steps in the KB article to fix any and every WinPE WIM file you ever use. I suppose you could apply this fix and then replace the broken WinPE WIMs from the ADK with the updated ones. It might work but still a pain in the neck.
