I'm upgrading my secondary site servers by removing them, and installing on new OS. That part is going great. However, after installing the secondary site, when I go back to install the client, I get the following:
MSI: Setup was unable to register the CCM_Service_HostingConfiguration endpoint The error code is 80041002 When I go to Google, it refers me to Microsoft KB 2905359, which specifically refers to 2012 SP1 CU3. However, this method did work with one of my servers, but it's not working on another. I've removed the MP role, rebooted the site server, tried installing, still getting the same error. None of the other entries from Google seem to make sense for my issue. I guess I could remove the whole site server again, rebuild the site server, and install the client before installing the secondary site? Any advice and tips are always appreciated.
