Yes, it was.  The original group that was being used had its members removed, 
and is no longer available for this use.  Does anyone know of an easy way to 
apply a new group to all of the categories?  Without having to touch each 
category manually?

Have had a couple reports of some reports freezing in IE11, otherwise I am in 
it multiple times a day without issue.

Your issue definitely sounds authentication or permissions related.

Anyone seeing issues with accessing the report server through IE 11?  I did 
have a security group change on me without my knowledge, but I've fixed that, 
and in Site Settings, the correct groups are setup as System User, but we're 
not able to login.  Keep getting an error saying

User domain\user does not have required permissions.
