Correct. Update groups are simply groups for the update metadata; deleting one 
just deletes the group itself. You cannot delete the update metadata no matter 
what you do.

Deleting a SUG doesn't delete the updates that were in it, right?  So, if I  
delete old SUGs, then go back and create a new SUG that has those older 
updates, I'm good, right?
