Well, I guess it didn't like the attachment...it bounced back. I'll find
another way to post it for all to see...

Subject: New Electric Super Pocket Bike

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I have been so quite on the list, but I have been super swamped
getting ready for the Battery Beach Burnout event and building EV's...

I thought I'd share one of the new bikes we built for the race. It started
life as a super pocket bike, but recently was reborn as "Orange Crush". It
is a 24VDC, contactor powered bike with a custom motor from Jim Husted of
Hi-Torque Electric. This bike was one of two joint projects between us and
Jim. (Folks, Jim builds some awesome motors!)

The motor is called Mighty Tim and we hope to be chasing the NEDRA 24VDC
record with the bike. The bike was built for the 24V class and to get my son
(14) started in EV racing. So he will be racing the bike at the Battery
Beach Burnout tomorrow night. If the bike does manage to break the record,
what a way for a kid to get introduced into racing!

He has been practicing and working with the bike, so he should be ready.

We don't have any actual performance numbers yet, but will after tomorrow
night at the race. I'll be sure to post the results here for everyone.

I am also trying to attach a small picture of the bike for everyone,
hopefully it goes through.

See ya,
