One was my lowest voltage battery that appears at one time to have had a reversed cell (mostly speculation on my part I admit). I believe that this battery is not just weak, but seriously in trouble. I believe that its future is the recycling bin somewhere. Any good disposal suggestions?
Here in Michigan, any place that sells batteries must also take batteries. I'm told this is a state law but can't verify it. You could mail it to me. Ha ha ha.
For the YT, could you drill into the plastic top and dribble whatever magic liquid you need into it then seal it with JB weld or blue of some sort? That seems a little barbaric but if it's dead you've got nutt'n to loose.
