Maybe someone will design a brushless Etek like motor based on the lynch soon with a much higher operating voltage.

Without a commutator it's possible to design a motor for voltages as high as 600 volts without raising the cost too much. Going from a 72 Volt system to a 200 plus volt system would be a giant leap in electric motorcycle technology.
