What voltage input are you using? For 48-60VDC you can pick up a 13A unit for $25: http://www.mpja.com/productview.asp?product=11325+PS
For higher voltage systems, one of our FL EAA members is using an aux battery and keeps it charged off of the pack batteries via a smallunit like this: http://www.mpja.com/productview.asp?product=14628+PS This unit is rated for AC input, but accepts DC input without a problem. For $10, its a real bargin. Hope this helps, Shawn >I was just browsing Ebay and found this unit. Seems sorta large at >12" long but it seems cheap enough.
