A pot box is a lot of work when you can just use a Magura Twist Grip throttle.

Subject: [ElectricMotorcycles] Pot Box Problem
Date: Fri, 23 Jun 2006 14:48:49 EDT

When I replaced the battery pack this winter on my EV Ninja I noticed that
the metal 90 degree angle mounting bracket for the throttle cable has good deal
of flex in it. Is this piece something that normally comes with the pot
assembly or is this something that the rest of you guys fabricate for yourselves?

The bracket looks plenty sturdy when I attempt to flex it by hand, but in
normal operation it moves almost 3/8".

I'm of the opinion that I need to replace the current flexy angle bracket
with something a bit more sturdy. What materials have others used successfully?

Thanks,
