I did this with getting a frame from ebay. I got the title, but i still needed some leinholder card from when the bike was new and financed. It wasnt a super pain that would have made me give in, but it was 5 trips to DMV over 2 months. In the end, i have an electric vf500 that is "great on gas!" Long story longer....if it is the bike you want, and has what you want.....investigate the paperwork and be nice to the DMV. Hang in there and be patient. It will be worth it. paul
