The batterypack is probably one that they assembled from A123 cells, as per the evalbum and this pic http://www.evdaytona.com/Gallery/buildevDaytona/DSC02919.jpg Gowheel.com and ev-battery.com are supposed to be working together (I think that they are one and the same but I cannot confirm that) and got a little movie stint that got featured on thekneeslider.com about their smaller size batts cranking over a v-twin. http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2007/02/02/lithium-ion-polymer-motorcycle-batteries/
As per plausibility, I want to see more specs and an empirical performance graph at given speeds and distances. Hopefully, they will make an appearance at an ev-rally or big name bike rallies and showcase their wares. Then we can get other peoples opinion also. I wish them luck. --- SteveS wrote: > The only things that intrigue me are: > > - the batteries - seems like a pretty compact > battery pack - exactly > what is he using? > - the claimed speed and range seem much greater than > what I've seen for > other EMs - is it plausible? > > - SteveS ____________________________________________________________________________________ Expecting?
