Hello Parker,
Your approach seems valid. The swingarm mount will free some space for  
batteries. The Etek will be 40#s less than my ADC, although less able to  
tolerate 
sustained current above 200 amps.
 
The biggest chassis issue that I have is due to the extra weight. My  chassis 
is relatively unmodified in terms of frame and suspension. The EV  
modifications weigh >100 pounds more than the original ICE. This quickly  
overwhelms the 
forks and rear shock. This combined with my lower battery mounts  (below the 
frame) reduce my ground clearance. I cannot push this bike to  the maximum 
lean angle in corners until these issues get solved. I will attempt  to get 
some 
clearance back by modifying the shocks with stiffer springs that are  better 
suited to my loads.  
 
The only real chassis concern is that the cheap square tubing used for the  
frame doesn't appear very strong. I would advise that you do not cut up the  
frame.
