I don't think this charger will play well with AGM batteries. These are typically for 'golf cart' batteries. Ones you can overcharge and just add some water monthly. I believe this charger just runs till the timer quits. The current will taper off as the battery voltage comes up. But you might be able to get away with adding a cheap and dirty regulator to make this work? I'd avoid shipping from an island though.....

Awfully quite around here. I'm about ready to swap out the old and tired Hawker 13's in my CBR for Yellow Top D34s. So I'll go from 72 volts/ 13 ah to 48 volts / 50 ah.

I think I'll get a Soneil for on board charging and a golf cart charger for at home.

Who knows anything they'd care to share with these golf cart chargers? I'd like to be able to hook it up and forget about it. Here's one I'm looking at: ebay#: 220103717462
